Why I Chose to Complete AI Governance and Ethics Training, and What It Means for Connect My Marketing and Our Clients

With AI rapidly changing how businesses operate, it’s becoming a key part of the way we work at Connect My Marketing. From automating tasks to providing deeper insights, AI tools are powerful. But using powerful tools like AI comes with responsibility, especially around data, privacy, and trust. That’s why I recently completed a course in AI Governance and Ethics: to deepen my understanding of the legal, ethical, and security issues that surround AI and to make sure Connect stays true to our values as we embrace these tools.

Why This Training Was Important to Me

AI is more than just another passing innovation. It’s reshaping industries and influencing decisions that affect people’s lives. With so many unknowns, I wanted to make sure I fully grasp the frameworks that govern AI use, from the laws that regulate data and algorithms to the ethical questions about bias, transparency, and accountability.

I believe that understanding these issues isn’t optional for businesses that want to grow responsibly, it’s essential. Taking this course helped me think critically about how we integrate AI into our work without compromising the trust our clients place in us.
